A Watery Composition.
This soundscape assembles different recordings of a stream up in the mountains in the French Pyrenees. We recorded the stream in two different spots – a waterfall-like and a shallow spot – with two differents kinds of mics – two hydrophones and a stereo pair. The composition plays with the ideas of intensity, water travelling and its different qualities.
recordings: Brendan Smith and Carina Pesch 2019
editing and composition: Carina Pesch 2020
All recorded during the CAMP-seminar “Recording Red Deer” by Chris Watson.
