A Watery Composition.
The soundscape weaves together various recordings of a mountain stream in the French Pyrenees into a gurgling spectacle. Two different parts of the stream – each with its own sound qualities – were recorded with hydrophones and microphones in stereo: One place – wild and almost a small waterfall, the other calm and babbling. The composition plays with the ideas of intensity, flowing water and its different qualities.
